The MacDonnell Ranges are a band of mountains spanning Australia's arid interior. Only a portion of the Ranges can be seen in this image.

 

The MacDonnell Range can be found on Landsat 7 WRS Path 102 Row 77, center: -24.56, 133.90.

Winding moutain ranges - like rough scars or knots on a tree.
